When was the last time anyone saw a 70 degree temp? We haven't seen 70 since Nov. 4.

Off and on for several weeks. Got to 80 today, mowed all day and got sunburnt pretty bad. Gotta remember the sunscreen.

6:36 PM, 72 degrees here

Inside that is, 25 degrees outside. :(

Supposed to get down to 15 tonight, I'm ready for summer. This cold weather sucks. It was in the upper 50's the last 3 days, but today it never got above freezing. :(

In the 70s here yesterday in SC. But the temps have been fluctuating all month slowing the warm season grasses

These temps. are sure making it tough, last year we were
cutting some lawns for at least two weeks. But as of today
nothing yet. All we've gotten are some leaf and mulch jobs, nobody is even thinking about needing a lawn service because of the cold temps.

Good Luck!

Down here you lose track of which month it is because it's always nice. We may not make as much as you northerners but we sure do enjoy some beautiful year round weather. But then again we cut all year round so maybe we do make as much as you all. LOL

Actually I had noticed that the money that someone is willing to pay for regular weekly maintenance seems to go down the further south you are. Is this because the majority of the poorer states are in the south? Or is it because the customers see you more months of the year?

I have also noticed that the majority of complaints about lowballers etc. seem to come from the south. Is this because the season down there runs almost the whole year where up here in the north you can and do often have months on end where a LCO has no income?

Up here if you don't pay your bills ahead and put money away or have 12 month pay contracts you do have to find a fulltime job in the winter.
