My stihl BR400 claims about three new employees shirts every year. One time we had a guy who used to carry a bandanna in his back pocket. After about 2hrs I finnaly got it off the impeller.
Ssouth keep your shirt tucked in
If your shirt is real loose fitting, on some blowers, it can get sucked into the intake right behind your back pad. I don't think it could hurt you, but it could damage your impeller.
----------
Bobby
Ft Lauderdale

I sucked a pair of panty hose right off a clothes line one time. The customer was an elderly woman and she thought it was the funniest thing she had seen in years.

the br-400 is the bad boy of shirt munchers!
in the early mornings lots of times I'd wear a flannel shirt over a tee shirt. one by one the bottom of the flannel shirts was shredded, missing a couple of inches. finally figured it out!
whenever you use that blower, shirt tail and jacket needs to be tucked in!
GEO
Hello:
We had just done a repair on a blower & customer called complaining about their blower having something caught in it.
He brought it to the shop & we had him wait on it. Then after a little bit we pulled a black see through nightie out of it. He was embaressed & gave us a tip besides the repair bill.
This is not a blower, but the same thing happened with a mower. They brought their mower back saying that we got a rag caught up under it & really gave us a fit about it.
Well this has happened before, but when we pulled out the rag it just happened to be a ladies bra. When they came to pick it up we had the bra tied around the handle & told them there was nothing like that laying on the floor of shop.
She stomped out of shop leaving the mower & later her daughter came & picked it up. She had caught it in the mower & we all had a good laugh about it.
----------
GrassMaster - Home: www.lawnservicing.com
My Start Up Page www.lawnservicing.com/startup/
