Hi Ken,
The '06 Turf Tracer HP will have the 17 HP Kaw ECS on the 52" deck.
Pre drilled holes in engine deck for easy mounting of Stand on Sulky.
Pump Drive Idler Spring improvements. Heavier and larger diameter spring for increased durability.
The 19 hp KAW ECS electric start is available on the 48" and 52" deck.
I'd go to your local dealer for pricing, I might get caught between a rock and a hard place.
Thanks, Brian

Will any of the '06 walkbehinds have the new Triton deck?
And if so, what is the retail price?

Hello grassin,
No, the Triton cutting platform is not on any of the walk behinds. The Ultracut deck is on the Turf Tracer and the Trivantage deck is on the TTHP, Viking and Metro mowers.
Thanks for your inquiry,
Brian
When eXmark will increase speed on its hydro walk to at least 8 mph? Gravely has it done and now Stander is at that speed. Faster speed will be really setting eXmark as prime choice in wb market. You know nowadays nobody really walks behind, everybody rides on some sort of sulky or slide.

Hey MTR,
At this point in time there is no movement at Exmark to increase the speed of the WB from 6.5 to 8 mph. Anytime when there is a change to the top speed, safety concerns arise that need to be addressed. We feel 6.5 mph meets the demands of the majority of Landscape Operators.
Thanks for your inquiry,

Hey John,
The measurement your looking for is 43.1" from front to back tire measured from the middle of the tires.
The overall length of the TT 52" is 83.4"
Thanks

How do you control a w/b at those speeds???? I have an Exmark 36" Viking, and rarely get to 4mph, usual speed is about 3 (w/ BullRider sulky). I find it hard to keep straight line, keep constant overlap, etc at those speeds because of terrain and rough ground.
I realize a wider w/b is heavier and has a wider footprint and are undoubtedly more stable, but I'm puzzled about the need for speeds greater than 6.5mph.
I've considered a wider mower, w/b, ztr or stand-on, but am unsure I could get much greater speed from a different configuration.
Is there anybody here who moved from a 36" machine that was mowing at 3.0-3.5mph, and are now able to mow faster? If so, how much faster, and how much more productive.

Roger, as soon as you ride on a Z or a Stnder, the so so 6.5 is a joke. The more speed you have the more manoverability is for you to do job better. You have 8 mph does not mean you slamm dunk a 8 mph all the way, it is like driving a truck with 1st, 2nd, and 3...4 so on, and slipped back to 1st gear, it allows you to do fast or slow but at better pace of 8 mph if you want to zip through. On ECS of eXmark hydro walk, they or we set speed at 6 on control panel, and "squeeze" fast or slow, reverse, according to what we want to but the control is always at 6.
I rode Stander one time and it fly, humming along lawns makes me think why my TTHP is not that fast!!!

Thanks for the replies -- you are confirming what I supposed to be the case. I've undoubtedly been foolish to continue to run a small machine.

Put about 20lb on the front and try the mower. Let us know how you did.
