I am looking for walk behind aerators that do not require a visit to the back doctor after each job. (kinda cuts into profits)
Has anyone owned a good aerator to recommend maybe old greens aerator ryan, toro, something besides the jerk and pull at the local rent shop. We have rented so far but the machines are just small and unproductive and I got spoiled with the toro greens aerator 10 years ago. Somebody got a used one sitting around?
Thank you for your answers!

Classen has a split shaft core aerator that can help with what your looking for. They retail for about $3200 here in NY for the larger size coreing widths.

Good Luck this season!

Ray Kirby bought one last year. He said that it is so easy to use, that his wife can operate it.

Take a look at a ryan lawnaire 28. it is a self propelled hammer-type instead of a rotary.

Ryan Lawnaire is what we use. Beats the heck out of the push and jerk and they can be used in bone dry conditions as they smash their way through almost anything.

Has anyone ever used the model that JRCO markets that can attach to your Z or WB? They were more of a scoop than a core and just wondered how well they worked? That Classen did look like a "classy" machine.
