A 16' will handle the equipment you described. Just turn the wb's sideways if you need more space.

16 ft is the way to go. You need a big rig to pull all of that. And of course electric brake hook up. Prepare to buy some tires for your trailer, those dual axles eat the tires!!

A 16' foot will do, but if you plan on expanding your business you might concider an 18'er.

i agree with bob I got a 16' trailer and I wish every day that I had a 18'. I can squeeze my jd 455 and my xwd2600 dc on and two trimmer mowers I need the room to put a 48" wb.

If you were talking about 3 wb I would say the 16 footer. Seeing as how you have the rider I would go for the 18 foot. I think that this will be your best bet.

If you have any questions someone mentioned organizing your equipment needs on your driveway to see how much room you need.

Dont forget to allow for the power rakes, aerators, and fert spreaders when measuring your needs. No point in needing another truck or trailer to haul a few pieces of equipment that were forgotten when considering your needs.

Good Luck this season!

Almost every trailer I've bought, I felt like it was too small a couple of months later. I suggest getting one that you feel is too big so that you'll have room for growth. My biggest now is 26' and it seems to get the job done :)

I can fit my 62 z master, my 36 walk behind, a push blower and a push mower on my 16ft trailer and i still have 4 ft of extra room! 16 is plenty!

Definantly get one that you think may be to big. I started with a 16 and it was full in no time. Traded it and got an 18 footer, I can get what I need on it. Right now it is loaded with the JD 318, aerator and the DC XW2500 with room to spare. I have room for the trim mower and the Bigfoot spreader and then some.

We had the same problem, every trailer we bought was too small in less than a year, we had two trailers custom built for us one is a 20' and one is 24' and both are extra wide, it didnt cost that much more than a regular trailer off the lot and was well worth the one month wait. Sometimes we wish we had a even bigger trailer!!. Just My two cents

Purchase the biggest one you can afford and that your tow vehicle will handle. You will run out of room even with that! Good luck. :)

Chip was that an enclosed trailer? If not they must be much higher up north. I bought a new 16' trailer, two months ago, for $800.00 with the drive-on gate, tax included.

From reading the trailer posts on here I have concluded that either trailers sold outside of of PA are crap ( ;) ) or PA is just extremly expensive on trailers. You can not get a angle iron 16ft trailer around here for less than 1900 bucks... A tube contruction trailer like I bought cost 2400 bucks!

I've got a 14 foot trailer. I can put my 48" and a 22" side by side. Behind them, I put a 60" ztr. with 2 feet left over. I wish it was about 4" wider so I could get my 32" on the side of the 48". I personally don't like turning mowers sideways. I only use the 32" once a week and will pull the 48" off for that day. This is the largest trailer I could fit in my garage. Otherwise I would have gotten something bigger. Works for me.

It must be a PA thing, I never heard of prices that high for utility trailers until I read it on here. If ya'll yankees want I could probably arrange to haul a few 16' footers up there, for less than what Evan528 quoted.

On a 16" doolittle i can fit a 36", and two 48" walk-behinds sitting sideways and a 60" Z-Rider behind 'em. I think thats alot of equipment on one vehicle, So either the 16' or the 18' i would say would do it.

There is a big difference in price with different weight axles. When I was shopping for a trailer last year everyone told me to never go light on a trailer. I got an 18', 14000 pound trailer. It wasn't much more then the 7,000 pound axles and you have so much more versitility. Many pallets of sod, many pallets of landscape brick, trees, etc.

They are just as expensive here in CT. I would be willing to go to PA if others take u up on that offer. I need a new 16ft.

My 20' is made of 5" channel with a wrap around tongue and has brakes. It was an equipment trailer with the ramps but I had them install my tailgate on it. Cost me $1100.00 The axles are 3500 lbs and plenty for what I need. You guys are paying a small fortune for these things up North. For fuel and................say.............$600.00.........I'd bring one to ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
