robin hedge trimmer no spark

I have a fuji robin 221 hedge trimmer with no spark. I bought a used working hedge trimmer that was the same model for the spark assembly. I took it out of the working one to put in the not working one and it still didn't get a spark. I then put the spark assembly back in the working one and now that one does not get a spark. Can someone help me out.

What did you set the coil air gap at ?

Be sure the coil is gapped at .012" Then be sure that the kill switch is not connected to the coil and test for spark. Also make sure the coil is mounted on the proper side.
