I am using Adobe reader 7.0
I will ask our guys in advertising and IT tomorrow am and see what they say.
.
You do need to use Adobe reader to open it, the document is pictures and text, it is basicly a brochure.

Yes it will hop curbs with ease.
The 66" models are in warehouses and at some dealers now.
The 60" models are going to be in production in January.
Either way, call your dealer and let them know your interested, they can price you up a unit, and they can check availability if they do not have it in stock yet.

They are already on the TrimStar series of hydro walk behinds, it is the XR-7 deck.
The XR-7 was first introduced on the TrimStar hydros, and they are available at dealers now.

Finally got the pdf's. You were right, dial-up takes a long time. New questions for you: Will this deck fit a 2005 Super Z (926766). If so, what is the cost? Also, what is the part number for the new Suspension Forks? THANXZ!!!

Pj,
Forgot to ever ask you about the blade styles, lengths and center hole sizes...
Just for say the 60" deck for example.
Curious to know if 21" blades are still used.

The XR-7's on the riders are 5.80 inches deep, on the TrimStar Hydro walk behinds they are 4" deep, from what my spec sheets say, Although I am going to double check that 4" number, just in case.

It will not.
The tractor frame was changed to accept this deck, front caster wheel placement has changed and the length of the tractor is different to accommodate the design change of the deck and to allow room for a optional striping roller.

Part # 799270 is for the Hustler Z and Super Z full frame units only, at this time that is all that is available, we will in the near future have them for all our models and other Z's on the market.
MSRP is $199.00, for a pair of forks, you use your current tires and hardware.
These are just starting to get to our warehouses across the US, you can check with your dealer for availability.

PJ is the discharge opening size the same as on my 2005 60" deck. I see it being advertised as a larger opening. I have already ordered the 28 efi with the new 66" XR-7 deck and suspension forks. The literature states that with the suspension forks you will also get a more uniform cut, would you please explain this to our readers because I have been ask this question by other Hustler owners.
Thanks Reid

The Flex Forks smooth out the ride of the mower, and this stops the deck from bouncing on the chains it is suspended by, results are a more uniform cut.

As to the size of the discharge opening, I do not have that measurement handy.
I am attaching the latest spec sheet on the Hustler Z / Super Z with the XR-7 series decks.
I will get the measurement on the discharge opening ASAP, but bare with me, it may take a few days, a lot of our personnel are on vacation this week.

What happened to the trim on the 60"? It went from 6" to 3". That is sad.

With the new deck design came a tractor design change also, in regards to the placement of the deck.
We now "center up" the deck on the frame.

Old opening was 11" from what I am told.
The 60" XR-7 is just a touch smaller than the 66" XR-7, it is 14"

well, what was the opening size on the 03/04 60" decks before they made them larger in 05 ?
we're going to have to get one of the new machines with the XR-7 on demo. Looks promising. I have a feeling that we are going to be glad that we put of purchasing new side discharge machines this past summer.

I measured my 2005 60" deck at the very top of the discharge opening and it was 13.5 inches so I guess the new 60" XR-7 must be the same. The 11" opening you are talking about must be on the older style 60" decks before 2005 will you please clarify this.

Some 2005 decks had the 11", some had a wider 13" we made a running change in production last spring to the wider opening.
Anything older than a spring 2005 model has a 11" opening.
Look at where the front baffle sits in the deck also on the old style deck, this narrowed it down even more, the new XR-7's do not have this style front baffle.
