has anyone ever got a bad batch of grass sead ?

I don't think I ever got a bad batch but since its been so hot this fall my rye has been slow growing or never germinated even with watering frequently, fertilizing ect.. I have noticed my comps. lawns looking the same.

Im in Texas too and I have had several complants, I even reseeded one lawn.
At my expense....

What is the problem? The main problem in getting it germinated is the water....in our area we have not gotten enough rain to sprout rye. So this year we see exactly where the irrigation system fails to water sufficiently.

Well that's kind of what I ws talking about.

I have 2 lawns that it will NOT come up, Not sure if it's too warm still here in TEX or if I got a bad batch
