Will rock salt kill bushes and flowering plants?Had a disgruntal tenent spread it around my plants that have only been in the gorund about a year or so.If it will, what should i do to nurse them back to health?

I don't know about plants but rock salt will kill weeds if enough is applied directly to the weed. I have recently seen rock salt applicators for weeds at various trade shows and at upscale garden centers. While this may not address your specific question, I would guess that enough salt applied to any plant can cause damage or death.
