Well, another year in the books and just received 15 xmas cards from my customers w/ cash in them:blob1:, $300.00. I went out and bought my xmas present, a sirius satellite radio with a boombox.
Have anybody receive any present from your customer?.

A $25 gift certificate? I would be broke if I did that for all 300 of my customers.

I have about 10customers, most are property managers whose large accounts I service. I just spent $250, I don't feel that is too much when you gross 50K/year. Since you have 300, I understand (do you personally know all 300 customers?)

I have one guy who sends me a $50 gift card to Outback or Chili's or something every year. Postage stamp sized yard at $40.00 a shot year round but he never has to worry about the HOA. That's the way it's supposed to be.payup

I always send my customers christmas cards, and also potential customers that I have started marketing to. Everytime they think of your name and biz is a great oppertunity.

Give Poinsettas here. Buy them from Sam's club. 8 to a case. works out to under $5 each. Everyone seems to appreciate it.

I like this idea. I am going to try that next year. Might costs a little more than the generic X-mas card though.

sends out "holiday" cards every year at least 50 or more and usually I usually get 25 back from customers w/ some cash back (not the reason I send out the card's though) just a thing I do

When I first started out full time I would send out Christmas Cards to all of my customers as a way to say Thank You.Some would send back a card and some would send back a card with cash in it.So far this year I have gotten $150 in tips for the holidays.

Whatever you get from your customers is a bonus...Don't let it go unnoticed send them a Thank You card in the mail or give them a call,it will keep the tips coming year after year from that customer. They appreciate the response from you and it show that you were not expecting it.

about 5500 bucks in unexpected christmas money would be nice right now.
I would head straight out to get a new Permagreen.
what a christmas present that would be.:blob4: :blob4: :blob4:

I have sent cards out to all my customers (50) and usually would get around $200-350. I sent the cards out to say thank and happy holidays, but the money gift was always nice, those customers i dont mind doing a little extra for during theyear..

I agree, always keep those customer's in mind, but it seems the one's that don't send something (christmas cards or gifts) are the one's that B..... and moan. I sent 105 christmas cards and receive 80 cards back from customers. I just open one today and there was fifty dollars in it, another lady drop off a tin of cookies. Hmmm Jack Daniels and cookies.

Merry Christmas

I buy each of my customers a pointsetta and give them a card. I deliver each on personally. Of course I don't have 300 Customers!

You have 300 customers so theroretically you are making more too!!
I figure 25$ is less then I make cutting each lawn once, so I can cut each lawn once free to keep my customers happy! Maybe things are different when you have employees, I don't know, just my way of thinking.
