So I lied, that is a rye/centipede mix in Jackson, MS...i'm using a 36" Scag w/ double blades (normal on bottom gator magnms on top) and a proslide, it seems to stripe pretty well, ALOT better than my 48"

Looks good Jeff, we use a 36 scag as a trim mower with good results.

L I B M R STRIPES!
That's about all you'll be able to get, when that rye dies out it's all over but the "tryin'". Us southern boys don't have much of a chance to stripe anything sept when the rye is growing good.
Looks good though, really does!
Next: Hit that tannin' bed really fast fore you burn up! :D

Does the rye still die off even if an inch of water is applied every 5 days?

I hope that was your stance for the pose and not the ground speed you are cutting for profit at -LOL.
Just bustin yer nads, actually youve got some pretty uniform lines there. We start tomorrow, and I hope to see some sun shining down onto our accounts before too long.
I never thought about the ole' duck joke would work for mowing;)
(Homer thats Fun E 1. -LOL.)
Good Luck this season!

Stone, if you watered rye 5" everyday, down south it's gonna die when the temperatures get up. Rye is a winter annual down here, October thru April.

It's nice while it lasts but it just won't hang in there, wish it would.
