SO i was installing a portion of a fence today for a customer and it was raining pretty heavily (fun working with power tools in the rain:confused: ) and the gutter were draining everywhere but the downspouts.
So thought hmm I could clean those out and bag the debris and be gone in about an hours time.
Does any offer this?
What would you charge? Charge more for second stories?
I was thinking 1 hour minimum at 100+ and $50 for every hour after that.
Any thoughts would be great./

1st story at 50 cents an lin foot. second story at 75 cents a lin foot. Now steep pitch roofs cost an extra 200 dollars. That is any thing over a 6/12. The average pitch on most roofs are 5/12.

I have a 40 dollar min but heck most surpass that on two sides. My average house runs right at 80 and takes right at 1/2 hour. I will charge 3x price on freezing days. I do however give 20% discount to my regular customers, I can do that when I am there doing a regular service so there is no drive time involved and they feel very apreciated.

Pends on the place. Never throw on ground. It is a pain to blow and is usually really dark and makes nasty marks.
I use 5 gal buckets and a 44 gal trash can that I toss in.
Ladder and push 10 feet and scoop and splat.
Most gutters are the same shape. I make a little tool that will push 5-10 foot each side. Some times I just use my gloved hand and scoop away pends on what they are filled with.
Most people do not call untill they have overflowing gutters.
Plan on getting wet.
