We started up our own business this year and we're looking to buy a de-thatcher/power rake and an aerator.
We would like some feedback on the different types of equipment that is out there. Also for the aerator we would like some opinions on what works better, a core aertor or a spike aerator.

i dont know what type of mowers you have, but i just got a jrco dethatcher. http://www.jrcoinc.com they make numerous attachments like leaf plows, aerators, and dethatchers. i also have a leaf plow. they fit into one universal bracket, and i was impressed at how well the de thatcher worked. im not sure about how well the aerator works, but its a little cheaper than a power rake.
