Leaves/Pine Straw/Mulch

I had a customer today that wanted leaves cleaned out of their natural areas. The problem was it was layered with pine straw. I think that we did a really good job with it but it probably took us a little longer than it should.

Is there an easy way to clean leaves out of natural areas with mulch or leaves?

I use my blower a lot for leaves,

Yeah, blower them and do so carefully. Takes practice but I can usually get them all out with only a slight loss of mulch... It's worse if they're wet or frozen.
