Looking at upgrading my current hustler to a new hustler. Just curios which is a better motor the EFI or Liquid cooled. Why cant we have both a liquid cooled and fuel injected engine, now that would be awesome. Look forward to many new innovations from hustler, in my opinion the #1 mower in the world!

Both are great engines.
I would be torn if I had to make this decision, fortunately I dont have to.
It could turn into a Kawi VS Kohler debate also.....
Both engines in our application have been stellar, and little to no problems that I know of.
I love the response and power of the EFI, but the liquid is not to far from the EFI in regards to power.
You will find the liquid to run a bit quieter.
Talk to your dealer and find out which he prefers to service and which he has had the best service out of.
Not sure if any of this helped you or confused you more.

If your dealer knows how to work on the efi then thats what i'd suggest but if they don't then get the liquid cooled. The LC engines are quiet and more fuel efficient than the air cooled engines.
