Does anyone else hands hurt after using the pistol grips on the exmarks i just got an exmark not to long ago i am happy with it but i get more blisters and my hands hurt after i mow for a few days anyhelp or similar problems?

best i could say to do would be to screw around with the amount of pressure you have on your pistol grips for right now. once you build up your callusses this spring put more pressure on it. i always get this in the spring for like the first 3 weeks or so. blisters until the callusses come back from having the winter off.

Lawnboy82 took the words right out of my mouth! After a month of mowing your hands will build up such thick callases that you will no longer have pain! Sounds discuting but i also go through is every spring!

Should have gotten a Toro T-Bar! No blisters, No sore hands!

T-Bar all the way. Toro redesigned the 2001's also but left the T-bar alone. Give it a try.
