I was wondering what the best software is to help schedule, send invoices, track expenses, employees,income, basically everything needed for a lawn care business.
Also, I was looking for the best marketing strategies.

Quickbooks can do all of that and more. It is some great software that has saved me lot's of time and headaches since I have been using it the last 12 months. This is the time of year to get it launched.

how do people do scheduling with quick books? I am trying some stuff out with the memorize transaction piece. I can create an invoice and then group them into different days of the week and then click done and it invoices them. The only problem is each time is on a separate invoice.

I only invoice my accounts once a month. So what I do is create the invoice the first time I cut or service the account at the beginning of the month and at the bottom of the invoice either check the "To Be Printed" box or the "To Be e-mailed" box, & save it. Each time I cut or service the account that month I add another line item and put the date on the same line. At the end of the month I go in and put in the current day at the top & either print & mail or e-mail. I e-mail a lot of estimates & invoices.

As far as scheduling goes, I use an Excel Spreadsheet, set up like a calendar - faithfully each week, every week of the season. It's easy to move customers around (especially if you have a rain day and work does not get done) and I can also put jobs to do at the bottom, below the calendar part, that needs done. At the end of each week I copy the week before and make a new copy and quickly make any changes, drop off jobs done, add new jobs, etc. This also is another way to check myself if I can't remember what I did for a particular customer on a particular day. It's easy to add a new customer into the rotation as well. I do all my billing each day, but with QB it's very quick and easy. Of course, regular backups of all Quickbooks, the calendar, etc on a separate flash drive (taken to an off site office or location) is critical to do daily, in case of a computer crash or fire. I have an old lap top with my same QB program loaded on it as well so that the business software and records can be up and running at either location if needed or in case of a tragedy.
