brown spot!!!! how do i get rid of it?

newly sodded front yard w/ centipede grass...looked GREAT last summer but this summer it has large brown spots i think the disease is called brown spot, i'm in jackson MS, i need to get rid of it as fast as possible but i'm not tearing it up and resodding so what do i do?

Look in the phone book and call a licensed certified pesticide applicator.

to avoid this do not use fertilizer with high nitrogen expose as much light as possible remove thatch build up aerate and water regularly look for chemicals with iprodione,thiram,triadimefon

Brown patch usually happens in areas of higher temps & humidity, too much thatch, too much fert.,& excessive moisture.
Aeration, dethatching, & go easy on the Nitrogen will help.
May need to pull the dead areas out & reseed.

If you are not a certified applicatior then Lesco, I belive, has some granular products that contain a fungicide that is labled for brown patch, but man is it expensive. You had better not forget your wallet.
