$100 each Christmas since 1995. Got $50 that year. Most of the others... between $25 and $60, most around $40. During the year, about $25 is the best. Most do not tip. The rest tip at Christmas.

The best informational tip: Lawnsite
The best monetary tip: I think was around $50 , most people don't tip around here. They think that they are getting charged enough I guess.
The best edible tip.. Now thats where my tips come in, I had this old lady who every week when I was done cutting would have home made pepperoni rolls, cookies, sandwich and a cold pop there for me. She would just say hello I know your in a hurry but you need to eat.. She was great!

All income is suppose to be reported. If you find $10 on the street, your suppose to report it.

I was thinking 10, 20 bucks but mdb reminded me of the elderly lady who left me a share of her estate in her will.
it was "only" around 13,000 but the check was cashed last November and am still waiting for the right opportunity to arise to put the money to good use.
PS the wife doesnt know about it lol.

Yes but the IRS does. Every bank transaction over $10k is to be reported to the feds by the bank.

I was mowing an old lady's yard until she died. The only thing I got was stiffed on my last bill. Her son is a jerk, and just wouldn't pay it.

Wrong! It just depends how much is inherited. It used to be that the first $200k is not taxed, above that it increases up to $1m. Over that, it's more than %50. No, that's not a typo, %50 of everything over the $1m mark. In other words, when my Uncle Bill (Gates) dies and leaves me his $40b, I will get about $20b. Darn, whatever will I do with only 20 billion dollars?
