anyone useing speedy green scotts spreader

i set the spreader on the number on the bag for speedy green .but it looks like there is way to much comeing out .if someone can help .

Double check the instructions on the bag. They usually have a few settings for Scotts spreaders. 4 years I picked up 25 bags of Scotts 15,000 fert. for $4.50 each. After they were gone I gave the spreader away and I now use only Lesco spreaders and fert.

Was using 1 today, and will be using it tomm. (but as soon as I can get a real one, I'll give this one to a friend that needs it) I was going to make sure it was calabrated, but can't remember exatcly how. Was wondering what setting to have it on for the Lesco fert. I bought last night, and luckily it showed the settings for a Speedy Green on the bag. Thanks Lesco! :-)

I called Lesco

If the setting is not on the bag you can go to their web site.
Under spreader settings enter the # of your Lesco fertilizer in the Enter Item#/Description area and select search. Then select product applied.
Once you select your product a list of spreaders is displayed.
