What happened to Vibe Ray?

He had about 6 questions a day for such a long time and now he has disappeared. I figured after getting his new mower he would have a lot more questions, but not a one. Not even an annoucement that he got it. Sort of makes you wonder, did we answer all of his questions? :)

Months ago he asked for a heads up on the LCO situation in Hawaii. I told him do good work and he will make it over here. He won't need that nice new red rider Exmark though. Maybe a couple 7 or 10 blade Trimmers/Tru-Cut front throw reel mowers for the Tif Dwarf Bermuda/Emerald Zoysia show lawns.

Hope everything is fine for the guy. He was complaining about headaches once.

I myself would prolly post more on Lawnsite but the conditions here in the islands are not the same, ie. many posting have rider ZTRs or big wb hydros. Those mowers are not used by over 95% of LCOs here. But I still like to absorb lots of info on the mainland scene and see how the industry operates on the other side of the pond!

I think its fascinating to read posts where one mentions picking up say 40 lawns so far and the season just begins.
Maybe that happened to Vibe Ray and he has'nt come up for air yet.

It sort of makes you wonder when all of a sudden they are not here anymore. As we have mentioned before, members that have been here for a long time are sort of like Family. I remember last summer Homer was missing in action for a while and I had to call him. He just had puter problems. :)

I just checked on Scag48 and his last post was 2/15/2001 Them dang dealers!

Now that the season is going full blast in most areas and starting for others, most members are too tired to post when they get home. I guess I'm not working hard enough, since it never slows me down. :D

Oh yeah, scag48, the one that wanted to give the dealer a piece of his mind, and got pinched out of a couple of lawns cause his cousin came in his room and stole his cutomer list from his computer (his sister let him in).

I'm still around. Ever since the wife got here to Germany in February its been pretty hectic moving into the new house and all that plus 12 hours of work a day and getting my edjamacation at night. Haven't had much time for Lawnsite. I usually frequent the heavy equipment/pavements, snow plowing and landscape forums and then if I get extra time I come up this way.


Reading all those old posts (especially the 2 of ours responses all the time!) Was a really good laugh.

The rest of you "old timers" around here remember the AOL Grass Mowin deal right? 24-7 on call for anything for 29.99 a month! HAHAHA

I wish I was back in the sates so I can hire a couple of these kids to work for me!!

God those are still pretty funny.

Who remembers the time he cut down 300 apple trees in an hour or something along those lines??

Or his CRAZY customer that wanted him to trim the yard twice a week instead of every month! The nerve!!

I spoke with Vibe a about 2 weeks back and he said that his Dad had him so busy in the construction trades that he wasnt sure what was going to happen.

I figure the poor lad got that machine and after having headlights installed is mowing in the dark not to get off schedule.

He seems to be heading in the right direction, I hope all is well with him. He also said something about limited net time so maybe he used up his disk and is looking for other means to get back here to LS Land -LOL.
