I'm having problems editing fliers and doorhangers w/ adobephotoshop 7.0. I download them from gopher website and save them in a document file. When i open my adobe and browse for file, open one of them, i'm lost from there. I've been told i need to set them up as a backdrop to be able to put text boxes on them to type text in, but i can't find a that option anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

if you downloaded a 'doorhanger' ... then it's now a graphic on your computer. A compressed, one layer graphic. What ever you're looking at can't be edited.... only touched up, erased...whatever... if you're creative enough. The stamp tool comes in handy here. Text'ing is simple. No need to create a 'text box'.... just point and click on the text tool, and point and click on the position where you want to put text. Providing your 'door hanger' is now a back ground image.
