Looking at buying a hydro, floating, 37" walkbehind. How well is the cut?
how well will it mulch?
how well does it bag?
What should I look for on a unit that is 3-4 years old with 320 hours on it?
Thanks!

To answer all your questions....
It cuts, mulches and bags great!
With 320 hours I would look for general wear items such as blades, belts and bearings...

Is it a 3 blade or two blade design?
Thanks

2 blade design, we have had that unit in production for many years, it cuts great.
The new TrimStar hydro walks have a similar 2 blade design also.

What is the difference with the trimstar. Is it shorter in overall lenght. this 37" unit looks to be long, however I have never seen one in person, will be looking at it in a couple of weeks.
I have looked at the trimstar on the web site. Just wondering what the comparisons are to this older model. I may decide to buy a new one?
Thank you for your replies!!

The TrimStars are lighter, shorter and also have the new deck design and 2nd generation of the Hustler exclusive H-Bar steering (built in cruise control).
They both use 15hp Kawasaki's, although the Trimstar has the newer KAI series, better air filtration is a main feature to this engine series.
The TrimStar is less expensive also.
Take a look at them and drive them, make your decision after you have done so.

But doesn't the Trimstar come only with the belt system vs hydro for the 37" and that is why they are cheaper?
