What is your personal preference and why?

When you are ending a runningbond walkway, we'll say at a driveway, you flare it out, do you put your cut pavers on the outside of the pattern or the inside? Why do you do it the way you do?

I feel with the cuts on the inside it gives a more inviting look to the walkway. That is just my opinion, but why is it my opinion? Why don't I like the cuts on the outside? Is this a style thing or a labor saving thing? A designer thing?

I am working on an estimate right now looking at a bunch of pictures of it both ways and I can't decide which way to do it for this job. It was bothering me so bad I had to put up a post about it.

I am interested to hear what you guys/gals opinions are.

We always put the cuts on the inside. It draws your eye down the walkway.

We always do what the client wants, so, what I like really has little bearing. I like cuts on the inside myself, but 50% of the time, the client chimes in.
