I looked at designoutpost.com last year. They have a set price, and people will bid and submit a sample. You pick and refine. I believe the people on here that have used them were happy.

MCS, I have to throw my .02 in. I personally have seen Derek's (drsogr) work. He redid a logo of mine recently, and did a heck of a job. Contact him and see what he can do for you. You'll be impressed! Look @ my avatar next to my name.

I am in the market for a logo as well, and need some help. I am new to this site though, and do not know how to pm someone. Also, does anyone use multiple logos (shirts, trucks, trailers, etc.)???

Hey StriperPro & BCF,

Keep an eye on this thread. You have to have a certain amount of posts before you can PM someone I believe. Best thing to do is to post your email address here, and they'll get a hold of you.
A logo is what people remember you by. To pay a few bucks to have one of these guys do one is so worth it. Go to some of these professional logo making websites and you'll pay from $99 - $399. I know there's a few here that'll do a great job for you.

both of these guys have posted some nice stuff lately, you could trust either one of them to help you out and do a great job if they might have the time, :)

Joey is another one guys. He put together a real nice logo for me last week as well. Just do these guys right though. Don't take advantage. It's great to have people here that are willing to help the rest of us out like they do. They don't have to. They chose to. And I for appreciate the hell out all of you that do help. Whether it be with logo's, advice, pricing, everything. Knowledge is everything.

You kill me! There are people out here that will do it for free....ya have to look for them though. I am not one of them. Do you think someone is really going to be interested in doing charity work for someone who has 2 - 2500hd and his own bobcat? I am guessing you don't give away your landscaping work, so don't expect people to give away their skills.

I bought Logo Creator for $30 at Best Buy. The other option is Print Shop Deluxe or higher.

I would love to see how a program can create a logo. please post it when done.

I went to school for graphic design and creating a logo was devoted to an entire semester, it is the quintessential image your company represents. You are much better being in business for a couple of years finding out just what your identity is before whipping up something on the spot. Then have designed for you.

Grn Mtn I don't disagree with you it does take time to think, and create a logo. But, there are programs out there that do make things easier. I bought the program, and still created mine from scratch. This is my third year in business, and this year I was finally able to create a logo that I felt represented my company. When I created it, it didn't take two hours and done. Try about 50 hours a playing and tweeking to get it where I liked it. The logo has to look right on business cards, bids, invoices, trailers, and vechicles.

Stiperpro do a search on google and there will be a ton of companies with samples.
