Well I just changed the oil im my Great Dane. I started it up and it back fired. Guess what?

I just blew a head gasket!!!!!!!!

I called my mechanic at home, he says bring it by in the am I've got a gasket well get it running in no time!

Can't ask for better then that when somthing does go wrong.

He told me hell show me how to do it incase I have to when its no longer covered by warrenty.

I am assuming you have a Kohler engine-a 25Hp probably,like myself.Good luck,sounds like your dealer is taking care of you,like mine did.

Yep 25 hp kohler.

Dealer is GREAT "call me if you have ANY problems"

What caused the backfire? Was it changing the oil? I have a Great Dane and don't want to have this trouble.

Keep that number handy. As a matter of fact Kohler should give out a mechanics phone number with every 25hp POS that they sell.
