Installing a patio that will extend from house to exsiting pool deck. Level , graded, line at the house will have the paver black 6" above the basement window bottom. Assuming grade needs to remain the same , what is the best way to deal with it? Curved soldier course filled with crushed paver (to maintain color)? Partially block windows using concrete extended from base?

Ideally would like patio to be completely flat

I don't think you can partially block a window by code . Build a window well around it if its below grade, or remove the window and block it.

I agree. Sounds like a window well needs to be used. How big it has to be depends on the size of the window. I understand you wanting to have patio flat but there should always be some slope away from house and pool if possible.

agreed, when I say flat I mean with the required slope/grade... Trying to avoid the rounded soldier coarse type thing

Like others said, sounds like a window well is needed.

U can either build one with retaining wall block, or SIMPLY buy a window well and install it on the house to the desired grade,
