When you take on a mulch job in the spring what do you do??? Do you remove the old stuff lay down weed block.... Or just relayer and be done with it?????

We just relayer if it's not eatup with weeds. Color is mainly what they want anyway.

Depends upon how many times it has been re-mulched before.If there is a whole lot of old mulch on there,it is advisable to remove some then re-mulch,you dont want it to get so thick that no air gets to the soil below at all.If it is thin then yes just re-layer over the top,making sure that no mulch touches the base of any plant or tree in the area.

Mulch by its very nature provides organic nutrients to plants and soil as it breaksdown. We just relayer as cclllc said mostly customers just desire to have that fresh color back. The weeds we pull by hand and or spray with a non-selective hebicide if possible.

Mantis it in if needed, add premergent and then mulch and another small amount of pre em.
