View Full Version : My new Kawasaki ATV Pics...
Here's some pics of my new 2006 Kawasaki 4x4 360 ATV with 2500 lb. Warn winch, 54" Cycle Country snowplow and rear tire chains (not on it in the pics). I bought it a 2 weeks ago, but hadn't had a chance to put up the pics on lawnsite. I'll use it for plowing my accounts in the winter (pushes 6" of heavy, wet snow like it's not even there), I'll pull my trailer with it in the summer, and of course I'll use it to go mudding upstate  ! What do you think?

I had that same plow on my Suzuki vinson 500. I guess it worked good, we never got any substantial snow after I bought it and then I sold the whole rig the next fall.
I kinda miss my 4 wheeler, not sure which one though... I liked the 4x4 but it was as big as an import car and kinda dangerous to ride when there's a lot of whoops to go over and a lot of twists and turns in trails. Just so heavy I sure wouldn't want to be under it in an accident if you know what I mean! I also had a Yamaha Raptor 660, that was certainly fun to ride but it was tiring fast. After a good accident where I went face first into the ground and pulled about every muscle in my back and legs (got ran over too) I realized that going out and having a little fun wasn't worth losing my business over! What if I broke something? (besides my nose) If I put myself out of commission cause of some toy I would have been screwed!
Ok, I owned a helmet, but of course It was in the back of the truck. Just one of those "go out for a minute and then come back" rides. Live and learn....
Moral is: Be safe! Not sure how much you are going to use that for pleasure riding, but if you do ANY have a helmet! Also keep alcohol out of the equation too! Beer = bravery = accidents! (yes I see that you are 15, but that never stopped most guys I knew from drinking!)

I dont think the towing is a good idea...my mom has a prarie 300 and i towed a trailer behind it and only did it MAYBE 3 times before the transmition went out and it was a RIDICULOUS amount to pay...i do like Kawasaki though we have 3 and we love em....you gotta get some mud on that thing man

That looks nice bro... how much of it could you write off in your taxes?
One of neighbors has a older F-250 with like a 16 inch lift kit and huge tires and he went to pick up his new quad from the dealership. he put the ramps on the tailgate and starterd to pull up them into th back of the truck and it was soo steep the quad flipped and he dove off and he like shattered the gas tank and snaped the handle bars off. It was brand new and this was in the parking lot of the dealership...

Well, it says that it will tow 1100 lbs without a problem, a friend of mine had the same model as mine except without the 4x4, and he tows 1200 lbs 3x per week for 52 weeks per year for 2 years so far, without any problems. Thanks for the concern though, I have the 4 year extended warranty, and it covers parts and labor. Keep the responses coming :waving:

Thats nice. How well does it push?
Well, when I first got it, I plowed 6" of really heavy, frozen snow with no trouble at all, in 2WD mode (also has 4WD mode). Seems like this ATV will truly go through nearly anything!:blob4:

You mean, you drive this NON-Street legal quad, in the streets to your jobs?

No, you must be thinking of someone else. I'm only 16, have a permit, but no truck yet. Maybe you're thinking of MCWLandscaping?

But still, there is nothing completely legal you can do, unless you put street tires on it, blinkers and have it checked at the DMV's office before being completely legal. Yes it is a bonus personally knowing the chief of police!

I've looked at several brands. The kawasaki, & suzuki quads are nice. Polaris is a good brand as-is Bombardier. I might be getting one soon but I have other things on the imeidiate agenda.

Not bad for a 2x4, But when you start taking it through water over the front racks, or mud with a soft bottom, Then I'd like to see it!
Next time I go up to my place, I'll take videos of my 4x4 and 2x4 going through water past the front racks.

I tell you what our 2X4's do really well for a little 250. Mine has ITP Mud Lite rear tires which help alot. That hole that I pulled my friends atv out of is about the nastiest mud hole I have ever encountered. A couple weeks before that video was taken we were going across the ice and right in the middle it broke and sunk to the racks in mud. Well 2 guys show up (and we think UH OH were in trouble now) and ask if we need help. They both have lifted grizzlys with huge mud tires. Well they pull us out and the one guy thought he would be cool and go through that mud hole because he had a big bad 660 Grizzly. He hit the hole and his bike all but disappeared and thats where his bike sat. It was all his buddy could do to pull him out and we waited just in case they needed help. Our bikes can do much more than whats in that video but thats the only place we have to ride.

Here's a couple of my Kawasaki 750.
The first one is when it was new and the second is of it ready to go to work (but still waiting).
How do you post the pic directly in the post (without having to click to see it)?
