FLOWERING MUMS

PLANTED MUMS LAST FALL. DIDN'T GET TO PRUNE THEM BECAUSE OF EARLY SNOW. CAN I PRUNE THEM NOW & HOW MUCH DO I PRUNE? OR SHOULD I PRUNE THEM TO GROUND LEVEL!

Not a gardener, usually I cut mine down level with the ground.

I usually cut them to the ground level in the fall and continue to keep'm cut to about 4-5'' throughout the summer. I let'm grow beginning the first of September so they can blossom in the fall.
