We've all read the threads on scrubs. I'd like to know what you consider a professional.

I'll toss out a few in no particular order to start.

A professional:

Takes the time to learn and interpret financial statements relevant to their business

Prices to allow a fair profit, after all costs, including their own salary have been paid

Presents a neat, clean, and well thought out appearance

Takes on jobs that they are qualified and trained to do

Continually improves and expands their knowledge and their employees knowledge through furthur training

Those are a few of my thoughts, add yours.

being able to tell a customer they are better off using someone elses service if you know they could do better than you. ie. tree service

High quality product and customer service

You're bike has Chrome pedals and not painted ones :)

Act like a professional

The key is to appear as a professional in the eyes of the community/ future customers. There are many people who can go out and buy commercial equipment and not be a professional.
