How much property damage?

Trying to upgrade my insurance, have $1 Million, but fine print lists only $5k for property damage, $5k for equipment damage and the remainder is for personal damage.

Is this normal? I though a million is a million, and it just gets divided up by whatever is damaged.

I have no insurance claim, just using the time now to go through the paperwork.
