Problems with 1999 Ferris

1999 52" WB Hydro. Motor slows when the blades
are on.

Took it to the dealer, he is baffled. He's contacting
Ferris.

Anyone else have any problems???

How many rpms is it loosing? Has anybody checked the blade brake to make sure it's disengaging when the blades are actuated? Remove the belt and check each of the pulleys and spindles to make sure one isn't freezing up. As complicated as these mowers look they really are made up of very simple systems.
