how much does it cost you guys to invoice your clients. taking into consideration- TIME (afterall, it does equal money:rolleyes: ), invoices, computer programs you are using, stamps, envelopes, etc. what is your monthly cost to invoice clients? thank you

It costs us about a $1.60 per client per month, if we bill monthly, but we do offer a discount for clients who pay for the whole season up front, saves us a little time (with our software it takes about 2 minutes to create and print a detailed invoice) and money, but more importantly it keeps us from having to deal with as many late payments.payup

around $1.50 for mailed invoices, $1.11 for emailed invoices.

Last season I figured my per invoice cost to be about $.75

stamp and envelope are almost that...
printer ink, paper and your time in recording transaction.. etc all have to be accounted for.


we think ours is about $3.00

$3.00 for what. Sounds high. I would try to work on that.
stamp and evelope still less than .42.
I mail 300+ invoices every month and my cost is less than .50 each
