this machine has 1750 hours on it and is a 18 horse 42 " cut . what do you think it is worth in so so shape ?

Having owned a 23hp 52" Husky I'd say that the one you describe is at it's "end of life" and not worth more than about $500 IMHO. Yes the motor can be rebuilt but I'd be REAL leary of the Hydros.

WELL, if you could get it for the $500.00, and use it for a whole season (fingers crossed), then it would pay for itself. How mechanically inclined are you ???

would not touch it. Had one with 400 hours on it when I got it....nothing but trouble.

thanx for the info guys i think i am gonna walk away from it . sounds tempting but i dont wanna work on it all season.
