Question about backhoe controls...

HI All,

I just bought a Case 680 E Backhoe....too good of a deal to pass up....Only thing is I dont like the 3 stick and foot controls to operate the backhoe....HOw hard / expensive would this be to change over to the 2 stick system where the right stick controls the dipper stick and bucket and the left stick controls the boom swing and boom ( I think this is the JD style controls?)..

It is possible to change the towers out. The dealers do it all the time. Check the internet you may find a used tower for a steal.

we have a 580sl with 4sticks(extendahoe) i would suggest running it for a week or do and you will adapt very quickly i like it better than jd controles but i really like the excavator controls but they are a very differant setup
