Thanks for the compliments, the mower was $5700 and iv boughten lots of blades and oil since then, worth every penny. My friend spent double on his laser XS and i almost keep up with him for 1/2 the price and maintenance, i reccomend these to everyone. I hope they dont change them cause thee perfect.

I just got the new 2006 Scag catalog in the mail this eve. About the only changes I see are a new deck leveling device, adjustable drive sticks and more horsepower, the 20 hp kohler has been replaed with a 23hp. And a 24 hp Briggs is available for the 48'' deck

i think scag has changed the deck some or from what i saw in my dealers copy of his big catalog ( nothing like we get ) i think they call it the high velocity deck or something like that , it looks like from the pic underneath like the older style deck ... bigger discharge opening

I have the same model and I love it to death. The new price in my parts is $6,300. Eurosport, do not worry about the 19hp engine it has plenty of power for the 48", it is one AWESOME engine. Oh by the way, I love SCAG orange also.

After i get a bigger trailer, im planning on getting a 35hp Turf Tiger 72", i love scags soo much, there the strongest, and cleanest cutting machines out there.

add another to the scag family i have the same mower but with the clamshell bagger on it. The 19 kawi has power but a 23 would be ideal with heavy grass and leaves. Deff a kick azz mower tho esp for the price.

You all are correct about the 06 line-up they came out with a new deck, different baffles, larger discharge, new engines (brigs), deck leveler, handle bars are different they are now adjustable, flat free front tires, and i'm sure i left something else out but thats a start for now....

Nice machine. How do you like scag, That was one of the company's I've looked at before buying the dixie chopper, Just didn't have what I was looking for at the time.
