looking for logo help

Getting ready to take over father in laws maintenance company. He has no logo and I think I should get one but have no and I mean NO artistic ability. I have seen some of the logos guys have helped each other do and would be interested in getting some of that help if someone is so inclined. I do have a few ideas but no way to execute. Thanks for any help.

Hey we used this site for our logo. You will have a personalized artist that works with you and it only cost $150. The artist sends you a rough draft through email to see if you like it, at that point you can make changes to it. Here is their site. www.CorporateCartooning.com
