Took my wife to the Haulmark dealer today to show her what my trailer looks like. Mine is not in stock yet but they have a twenty footer there that is identical to my 16'. They had the price displayed on it and she was like for the cost difference you should get the 20'. Well I did they gave it to me out the door for 6400.00. Dont really need the twenty but it will make a great workshop in the front of the trailer now. Plus I do not have to upgrade now when I do need a twenty in the future.

20 footer was definatly a good choice, you could always use the space.

You want to pull a 20 foot trailer 40 hours a week?

It's not that bad now is it? My new one will be 22'. I might have been able to get by with a 20' but I wanted to make sure everything I am hauling would fit without having to cram it in there.

samk,
Congrats on the new trailer.

I pull a 20' Pace enclosed and it's not bad at all. Just watch out for lower limbs.

I have a 24' and still need more space. I have no problem pulling it around all week.

What is wrong with that? I do it an average of 55-60 hours per week. Love my trailer. Built it myself. Lotsa satisfaction with this one. Once you are comfortable with it, it is no longer a worry.

Smaller = more effiecient. More cost effective. My next Isuzu box truck will be a 12 footer to haul a 60" and 36" and push mower. Just enough to get it done is sometimes better. I can understand if you need to haul 3 ZTRs to a site, but not to haul a ZTR and walk-behind just for everyday residential. Just my opinion... I will shutup now. :) Boys and their toys!!!

I wish I could get away with hauling two machines around for the day. It was fine at first but as the business grows so does my need for equipment. Last year I would have been more efficient if I could have hauled three machines. Now I could do this with a bigger NPR but then I loose a place to put clippings on the sites where we unfortunately need to haul away some some of the crap.

As much as I wanted to I just could not figure out a way for an NPR to work out for me,

Hopefully this 22' is the last trailer I purchse for a while and I hope too that it is the most effecient way for me to get the job done. I'll let you know next fall :)

I will have another Z probally within the next year or so. Yes it is big for just 1z and a walk behind but it will have a traveling workshop in the front with grinder air compressor and some other goodies. also will serve as storgage during the winter and that was my wifes thought on getting the twenty over the 16. plus I wont have to ugrade in 2 to 3 years because i bought bigger now.
