I am weak in the pruning area, can anyone recommend a source for basic and specific info on pruning.It has never been one of my strong points. Thanks,Brad

Go to your local bookstore or library. The gardening section will have many books on the subject. All of the ones that I have seen about intro pruning are all about the same. That should get you on the way and then practice! Make sure that you go back and have a look at some of the jobs that you did in the past to see how things worked out.

I have adapted the carpenters credo of 'Measure twice, cut once' to be 'Look twice, cut once' with pruning. Gluing branches back on really doesn't work too well. . .

Check with your local county extention agents office. They are usually a good source of info.
