Does anybody have a suggestion for keeping the underside of a LawnBoy (21" sp hand mower) mowing deck clean when mulching? At this time of the year, the grass is so green, growing so fast, the moisture content is very high. And some days, such as today, the weather was cool and damp. The dew was gone and the blades had dried off from earlier showers, but the deck does not scour clean. The mulching operation does not work as well, and more engine power is required. I use an OEM LB blade.

Maybe we should wax the underside of the decks with something, or there is the stuff that is on the banner at the top of the page sometimes, btw, What is the best lb blade?

The quickest way to clean any deck is to find the nearest mud puddle and slowly lower the front of the deck into it while the engine is running wide open. You will know when to stop. It cleans them sparkling clean.
SOUNDS LIKE THE TECHNOLOGICALY ADVANCED METHOD.
LOL I DO IT IF I GET THE CHANCE,SAVES TIME
