I have had others do fertilizing for me in the past.. If I want to use fertilizer on a clients property do I need a permit or license? If so where do I get a permit/license and what things do I need to know. Is there a book I should get to study? What about organic fertilizer. Basically clients are asking about fert to make there lawn grow better with less weeds.

If you are just doing fert applications you may not need a liscense, but if you do any weedcontrol or insecticides you need a liscense. and your customers will want weedcontrol. if you are planning on doing this I would highly recomend getting liscensed so you can apply the herbiceides, it will allow you to make much more $$
