Has anyone noticed the spread on the newest high tech mower in Turf Magazine? Look mom! No blades, no moving parts! no grass clippings! Let's mow with a LASER!!! Awesome! I thought it would be years before someone actually used this idea! Can't wait to see this thing go into production! Can't wait to see if they come up with smaller versions! I can see the year 2008. No trailer, no trimmer, just me and my lazer mower....

The Grass is always greener...on a pro's lawn!

Yeah, I thought that was kinda funny too! Who knows? Maybe Exmark will get distributer rights here in the states - it says in the article the outfit that made the prototype is in Germany!

I was reading a car magazine yesterday and it showed a ford that looked like a 1/5 scale of an escort. It ran off grass clippings, leaves, etc. some guy from Germany put a laser mower on it and could use it for daily driving and mowing. What a future piece of equipment.lol

Skippy...

Imagine if they could make that into a small pickup truck. No more need for trailers! Just drive and cut, drive and cut...

Hmmmm.... Would a lawn/leaf vac act as a turbo?????

Now that would be something!

It's a DODGE ......the high-tech Smart cars made by Daimler Chrysler ... that use lasers rather than blades to cut grass ( Wall Street Journal) .
