View Full Version : Grub problem
I have a customer I cut for. Last year they had a grub problem and they destroyed a part of there lawn. They want to put down sod. Do they re-sod the whole lawn or only the part that is destroyed?

First of all, make sure that the problem is remedied. The last thing you want to do is replace the sod with larvae still in the soil which will in turn destroy the new sod which is put down. I personally would not use sod, but rather reseed the damaged areas...if you lay the sod it'll create a "lip" where the existing lawn is unless it is dug out to be flush.
