Plastic signs

Do the plastic signs work? i plan on making 2000 flyers and i also plan on putting out 10 or 15 plastic signs around the same area. to get my name out.

I have had limited success with them. some of the drawbacks are...
1. competitors stealing them or smashing them.
2. weather related issues.
3. check your city ordenances to make sure it is ok.
4. make sure they are bright!!
