After I gave my aeration price back in the fall the guy ran in the house and came back with his check book and wrote me a check for the whole job.
60.00 for 5000 sf, then 12 for each additional. He said and I'll see you in the spring?

The guy said I'm not going to mention what Chemlawn quote me.

I would like to know what you guy's are charging per sf this season.

I had a guy tell me today he use to work for Chem-Lawn and they use
to charge 35.00 per 1000 sf.

Last year I seen a quote from them 3000 sf 88.00 or something like
that.

When you say $12 for each additional, do you mean $12 for each additional 1000 sf or $12 for each additional 5000 sf. I was just wondering. Typically I charge about $450 per acre, I am going to set a minimum but basically all the aerating that I have been doing have all been pretty big. I havent run into anything really less than an acre.

we are in the same ballpark, I charge $15 per k and if its a larger yard that is wide open and level I will give them a little price break.

Yes, that's 12.00 for each additional 1000 sf. I was using a pull behind last year than switched to using the Classen Walk-Behind Aerator. Wow,
what a difference.

I was out last week trying to get more jobs and had this guy say give me a price for aeration, cleanup, and 6 fert apps for the year. I measured property, made out a bid gave it to him. He spit the cigar out of his mouth, threw the bid at me and slammed the door.
I guess he thought I would tell him 10-15 bucks for all the work.HAHAHA

We charge 10-15 dollars per 1000 square foot. Its the perfect price in our area. As long as we smash their quotes and make a good profit no worries.
