I have heard of this idea from a freind of mine. he said he gets his flyer puts it in a lil light plastic bag and puts a rock in it and drives down the street and throws it on each drive way? what do you guys think of that too unprofessional

Very unprofessional.
Think about it. I am a homeowner. I work hard at keeping my home clean and neat. if I see a baggie with something in it, it will either appear as garbage or worse, drug paraphernalia. Either way, I am NOT likely to do business with someone who is supposed to be a professional but has the gall to litter in my yard!

Hey you could wrap the flyer around a brick and throw it through the livingroom window then ya know they recieved it, and you will be getting a call back from them !!!! j/k BTW I make it apoint that when I pick up flyers from other companys out of my customers lawn to let the owner know and let the other companys know I dont like picking up their trash !!!!

Many people get very creative. In this situation, I think it would be better to hang them on the door.
