I was wondering if any people have or use slogans on the sides of their truck or trailer? Besides the name of his business my son uses "A cut above the rest" on the sides of his trailer and "You are following the leader" on the back door. Lets hear some of yours!

I use "we'll make your neighbors green with envy!" and

The outdoor contractor

I like your following the leader.

On the back of my cube van I'm putting a tip of the week on mylar white board. Write helpful lawn and landscape tips on it with a dry erasable marker. Im putting it behind a plexy glass cover so teenagers dont write something like kick me or worst.

Who knows how many people might call if you have nows the time to apply crab grass control.

And if you have unlimited min. on the cell phone have on the back of your truck Call The Truck Now for fast service.

As 65hoss said, don't you guys get TURF Magazine?

They just did an article on this same subject from the thread that has almost 100 posts on this same subject.

As JimK said in another post, in Canada Turf is not free, but if you mention you are from Lawnsite, you can get it free. :D

They might even send you an April issue if they have some left. Who knows.

I looked thru most of those and I didn't see this one: "Leave your pain in the grass to us". I saw it in an out of town newspaper ad.

my business name is cutting edge lawncare. I stole it from someone at highschool freshman year. He was mowing lawns about 40 miles away from me, so i doubt there is much overlap, i don't even know if he is still mowing grass

Thinking of one...

1)Our goal is to be best, our competition may be cheaper, that reflects their opinion of their service![/c]

2)Our goal is to be best, our competition may be cheaper, that shows how they value their own service!

Heard one like this I just can pin it down, any ideas??

No don't like it.
It all runs together, and hard to read.

Slogans. Keep em short and sweet.

I like your idea Ray, and I understand the message you are trying to get across. It just needs a little polishing.

One other thing.. If you do plan to use something like this, mention the competition FIRST, then mention what your company goal is LAST. You want to finish up with you. Get the competitions faults out first, then your attributes as the final thought.

Such as:

Our competition may be cheaper, but quality and top notch service is what we provide.

I don't know.. that's probably not great either. Too tired to think now.. lol

Thanks Jodi. When I heard it , it was great. Now I have it screwed up in my head and can't get it right. Maybe a few more punches to the side will help..http://unionturf.com/biggrin.gif

The punching smilie is cute :)

I'm sure you'll work on it till you get it just right. Let us know what the final draft is.
