on a fertilizer program. Do any of you have just a granular fertilization program with no wetting agents. That is to say that all of your applications during the year are granular. Do you find this beneficial or do you prefer using just a liquid solution or a mixture of both? TIA for your opinions!

we use granular fert with liquid weed control, if you use the granular weed & feed you will need for the grass to be wet for the herbicide to be effective so you will need to do the applications in the morning while there is still moisture on the grass.

Granular fert is usually the way to go - even distribution and you can use slow release fert to make it last until the next treatment. Granular weed and feeds though don't work very well - the ground has to be wet and it doesn't do very well on hard to control weeds like ground ivy. Use liquid weed control and just spray as needed.

Seems to me customers really respond to the immediate visual "kill" effect of spraying for weeds as opposed to the wait for granular. I know its not that incredibly a long wait to notice the effects of granular but side by side comparison of these two methods is not apples to apples IMO when related to reaction time and the human eye.
