I was just kinda wondering what everyone is getting for gas mileage. Gas or diesel. I am adding another truck this year and was looking at 03-04 Dodge Quad Cab, shortbox, with the HEMI engine. But I want to find the V-8 that gets the best mileage....:)

I think my "decent" mileage is because of my non aggresive tires. My F-250 crew 4X4 short bed gets 14 mpg. One week I took it easy on the accelerater and got 16 mpg, but that week was no fun.

How can you have employees at 15? You can't even get a Federal Employers Tax Identification Number that is required for employees until you are 18.

How do you make your Monthly 941 Deposits since you can't have a legal business bank account at 15?

How do you have Workers Comp Insurance since you have to be 18 to obtain it.

How do you pay your "employees" since you can't have a business bank acct until you are 18?

How do you get commercial vehicle insurance so that those employees can legally drive a work truck that they don't own since you have to be 18 to get it?

Whose name are the trucks and trailers in since you have to be at least 18 to have them in your name.

How do you have commerical business liabilty insurance at 15?

Does your dad really own the business?

I haven't really pulled enough with my 2500 HD (6.0, 4x4, 4.10's, short box, extended cab, stock) yet so I can't give loaded numbers.

11-12 city
12.5 high way w/ 500lb snowmobile in the back of the truck (about 75 mph)

My all time worse for a tank was 7.89 mpg unloaded, bitter cold temperatures, parking outside and very short trips (all under 5 miles) so the truck didn't get warmed up.

All time best was 13.1 highway w/ snowmobile in back, doing about 71 mph.

I wish I was getting what some of you are saying...

That's how I'm doing it too...since I was 14/15 as well. Good Luck to you. I'm currently 17, but will be 18 soon. Don't let the jealous "adults" get down on you. Great job sticking your ground...noticed how they all got quite after you handed it to them. Keep up the good work!

A member in one of the other threads had asked:
"I wonder if there is some gas additive you can use."

The answer is: Yes there is. That would be one of the fuel catalysts produced by the TK-7 Company. The fuel catalysts offer value and benefits in many ways. The ignition improvers in the all the TK-7 formulas increase the amount of the fuel charge that is burned, releasing more of the energy (BTU)contained in the fuel. This results in more power, less fuel comsumption, higher mileage and lower exhaust emissions, especially in the amount of particulates in diesel exhaust. As a result of the combustion process, a superior lubricant is created which reducers cylinder and valve wear. This lubricant is several times more "slippery" than lead. It also replaces the sulfur in diesel fuel. Sulfur acts as a lubricant. This year you will see the sulfur content in diesel fuel drop from 500ppm to 15 ppm. That is a 97% reduction! By the way, sulfur is also one of the compounds used as a biocide to protect your diesel fuel from becoming a breeding ground for those nasty critters that foul your fuel tanks and fuel systems. Our TK-704SCF Diesel formula contains biocides with a highly effective 24 hour kill rate. Since not all fuels and applications have the same requirements, TK-7 formulates a specific additive package for the different types of fuels and applications. Straight gasoline, two stroke gas/oil mix, diesel, alcohol, nitro-methane - there is a specialized TK-7 formula for each of these fuels. To learn more about these TK-7 fuel products or to place an order, please follow this link: www.RideMor.com
